Staying healthy can be overwhelming for most people. Exercise, nutrition, positive habits, and a supportive community are our most important tools to create lifelong health. However, when people do seek help, they only find frustration with a healthcare system that does not understand their lived experience, workout routines that are not the right fit for them, and endless misinformation on social media.

Evolve Flagstaff is a collaborative health and performance center in Flagstaff, Arizona. We offer strength and conditioning, nutrition, and injury rehabilitation services.

The EVOLVE team brings a team-based approach, typically reserved for professional sports teams, to the everyday individual and athlete. We believe that everyone should have the tools to do what they love for life, whether that is chasing their grandkids, biking, gardening, running, or simply living a life that brings them joy. For nearly eight years, EVOLVE Flagstaff has been a trusted hub for lifelong strength and endurance training, nutrition, and injury prevention. Position:

Part-time to start, with the opportunity to grow to full-time.

You have:

A valid personal training, strength coaching, or CrossFit certification
2+ years experience
Flexible availability early mornings (6 am), throughout the day, and early evenings, depending on client/class schedules.
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Excellent technology skills, including Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Slides), and Instagram

Your typical day as a strength coach at EVOLVE Flagstaff:

You bring enthusiasm

You provide an exciting, energetic, and inclusive group workout class experience to 10-20 adults of varying experience levels. This includes not only providing high-quality coaching but also a dynamic and fun training environment.

You are adaptable

You help our clients to adapt their daily workout to their needs and abilities and can handle the unexpected in stride.

You make connections

You help our clients connect what they are doing in their workouts to life outside the gym.
You also connect with your EVOLVE team members and medical professionals to help maximize your client’s outcomes.

Your compensation & benefits:

Initial onboarding/training paid at $18 per hour (expected to take ~3 weeks).
$22.50-$30.00 per 60-minute class; $22.50 per hour for additional work outside of coaching; 45% commission for 1-on-1 training
Expected to start at 5-8 classes per week, and 1-3 personal training sessions per week to start
- For a motivated individual, there is an opportunity to rapidly grow to 8-12 classes per week and10-20 personal training sessions per week
- You must be able to coach early mornings, evenings, and several weekends per month.
Free EVOLVE gym membership ($160 value per month)
Free physical therapy or nutrition sessions- up to 3 sessions a year ($360 value per year)
